The 2026 Wolfsin Chinook joins the HUSKY family of professional, tough and smart DMR hand portables.
The latest digital (dmr) hand portable radio from Wolfsin is not just a number, it's called the HUSKY CHINOOK after the Husky of the same name. The Husky Chinook was originally bred to combine strength, stamina, endurance and inteligence and the Wolfsin Husky Chinook fully captures these traits.

Born tough and smart, really smart. All Chinook radios have man down, lone worker, emergency call & shunting safety tones as standard. IP roaming, Easy trunk, DMR T1 and T11 and multiple scan modes, TX over boost*. Bluetooth, noise cancelling and programmable audio amplification on TX and RX, all powered by the Industry leading largest capacity Li-ion battery as standard (3250mAh). Mil Spec 810 C-G and IP67

The first Wolfsin analogue Husky PMR radio was born in 2018 and although quite simple in operation it was deceptively tough and durable and so the HUSKY model range was born.
In 2025 the Husky K9 analogue PMR radio was born, the first of the analogue "K" series and this Husky was our 2025 best seller due to its IP67 rating, incredibly clear audio, which has all the clarity of digital but retained the richness of analouge which along with a host of useful features which endeared the K9 to many different end users, hence its name "K9"!
The first Wolfsin digital Husky DMR radio was born in 2019, an IP54/55 four model range which included Husky Alpha and Delta. In 2024 the Alpha & Delta series had evolved into the much more ruggedised Husky Siberian. The Siberian was the first radio to use the DTAP design which literally allows for the fast Expectoration of water from the grill and/or mic hole by simply tapping the radio againt a leg or hand
By 2021 the Wolfsin 200i DMR digital series was born and in late 2023 the 200i series had evolved and improved into the HUSKY SCOUT which came with a faster more powerful processor and a larger battery capacity up from 1700mAh to 2000mAh.
In 2024 the Husky Chinook was conceived and after a 22 month gestation period (about the same as baby elephant) the Chinook range was born.
As the name suggests this is the smartest Husky yet and it was designed from inception to do the heavy lifting with a massive capacity 3250mAh Li-ion battery.
Chinook has an ultra rugged case design to meet or surpass Mil Spec 810 G. With three Chinook models from inception all achieving IP67 the Chinook has a model for every eventuality.
