 WOLFSIN K9

The Wolfsin K9 is a compact analogue radio at only 103.00mm high, with a hidden OLED style screen offering three  lines of text and multiple information icons. Crammed full of features including NR Noise Reduction and Compander for brilliant clear audio over greater distances. The K9 has a highly sensitive and stable receiver able to operate efficiently at -121dB or better, hence the K9 really will go further. For more information click on the picture of the K9.

"ANR" ADVANCED NOISE REDUCTION & "C+" ADVANCED COMPANDER. The K9 has louder, clearer audio with less hiss right upto the last metre or two. We call it NDR as the K9 can give a Near Digital Radio audio performance in terms of audio clarity throughout more than 95.5% of its RF range

The blue flashing "find me" top LED is a simple but effective safety feature (dealer programmable), that allows the K9 to use its top mounted LED to flash a bright blue light every eight seconds. Whether the K9 is  used for skiing or mountaineering, being used commercially for retail, leisure or security activities or for hill walking or camping, all users will notice that the "find me" blue flashing LED is an operational comfort that can be seen from up to 100 feet away in the dark.

The K9 is IP67 WATER PROOF. Tested in the UK at 1M for 30 minutes, 0.5M for 1.5 hours and MIL Spec 810 C, D, E, F & G.

  • Toughened poly-carbonate case

  • Vibration alert on switch on and variable time reminder

  • IP67 audio socket cover with seals (must be in place for IP67 rating)

  • K1 Audio accessory fitting. Must be approved to maintain IP67 rating

A bright hard plastic PTT cover, as found on the most expensive digital radios, allows for a very responsive and positive Press ToTalk operation

Two function buttons below the PTT switch allow for any four of over twenty functions to be accessed, these include OLED display on/off, battery reserve with graphic, graphic radio staus, power setting and many more dealer programmable options.

  • Hidden OLED type display energises on transmit or receive. (can be disabled)
