WOLFSIN HUSKY SCOUT
Typically a Scout needs to be much smarter than average, a Scout needs to be tougher, last longer and react quicker, able to lead the group in any event! The Husky Scout is all that and more. The Scout is a compact professional grade DMR digital hand portable radio. Not only compact but tough and rugged to Mil Spec 810 C, D, E, F, G and IP66. Crystal clear loud audio at a rated 1000mW and a 2000mAh Lithium Polymer battery ensures that you will be heard for up to 18 hours or more on a 5/5/90 duty cycle. The Husky Scout comes in three versions "S"-No keypad; "SK- Short Keypad" and FK - Full Keypadand all have advanced safety and operational features such as Lone worker, Man down , IP roaming and Alarm voice announce.

WOLFSIN HUSKY SCOUT
Typically the lead Scout needs to be smarter, quicker, tougher more capable than average, a Scout needs to hear better and react quicker! The Wolfsin SCOUT, part of the HUSKY family of DMR digital radios is our most intelligent and compact hand portable yet! Now with improved IP66 water resistance and MIL spec "G" toughness. From man down to IP roaming/linking. The Wolfsin HUSKY SCOUT has it all.
RUGGED - A high grade polycarbonate case is fitted to the SCOUT along with a hard plastic, wear resistant keypad. The PTT and audio accessory port are semi recessed for added protection and the on/off switch spindle is protected by thickened collar to protect again drops and knocks.
LOUDER - A fulll 1000mW of clear digital audio* means the SCOUT can be heard in the most intense situations and places. A screw in audio accessory socket ensures secure comms even when moving fast. SCOUT has multiply audio amplification settings so as to ensure that what ever the environment the call will be heard! (and analogue* in hybrid mode)
LONGER - A new battery design along with an easy on/off locking mechanism helps with day to day handling of the SCOUT and makes changing batteries, even with cold hands, easy. Higher quality cells and better battery management means that the new 2000mAh battery pack can give a solid 18 plus hours of operation based on a 5/5/90 duty cycle.
BETTER - DMR standard 1 and 11, 2000 channels over multiple zones, Up to 3 lines of text and information icons, multiple voice announce, 18 hours of operation on a 5/5/90% duty cycle, highlly positive PTT action, enhanced ergonomics for ease of handling and use. The first Wolfsin analogue Husky PMR radio was born in 2018 and although quite simple in operation it was deceptively tough and durable and so the HUSKY model range was born.
In 2025 the Husky K9 analogue PMR radio was born, the first of the analogue "K" series and this Husky was our 2025 best seller due to its IP67 rating, incredibly clear audio, which has all the clarity of digital but retained the richness of analouge which along with a host of useful features which endeared the K9 to many different end users, hence its name "K9"!
The first Wolfsin digital Husky DMR radio was born in 2019, an IP54/55 four model range which included Husky Alpha and Delta. In 2024 the Alpha & Delta series had evolved into the much more ruggedised Husky Siberian. The Siberian was the first radio to use the DTAP design which literally allows for the fast Expectoration of water from the grill and/or mic hole by simply tapping the radio againt a leg or hand
By 2021 the Wolfsin 200i DMR digital series was born and in late 2023 the 200i series had evolved and improved into the HUSKY SCOUT which came with a faster more powerful processor and a larger battery capacity up from 1700mAh to 2000mAh.

In 2024 the Husky Chinook was conceived and after a 22 month gestation period (about the same as baby elephant) the Chinook range was born.
As the name suggests this is the smartest Husky yet and it was designed from inception to do the heavy lifting with a massive capacity 3250mAh Li-ion battery.

Chinook has an ultra rugged case design to meet or surpass Mil Spec 810 G. With three Chinook models from inception all achieving IP67 the Chinook has a model for every eventuality.
