Tacticom was the first UK company to distribute the ABELL range of professional PMR two way radios, that was way back in 2008 with the original A80. Both companies have come a long way since then. From inception ABELL were reknowned for their incredibly clear and loud audio, hence their moto of "as crisp as an apple". In 2010 we launched the A600, an affordable IP67 water proof analogue radio and the A510T, launched in 2014 was the first ABELL DMR digital hand portable radio. Now Abell have a full and superb range of superior DMR digital hand portable radios from the A420T, IP54 hand portable to the IP67 A720T hand portable along with the superb AM780T DMR mobile and the R80 and AR8000 repeaters with POC to DMT interfaces and the ATEX A720Tex range.

Tacticom Radio Systems have cooperated with Abell Industries Co Ltd for almost two decades. We were their co-developers and distributers for the original Abell A80, A81 and A82 analogue PMR transceivers. We launched the IP67 Abell A600: The DMR A510T and R80 DMR repeater. Now we have introduced the ultra tough, rugged and durable Abell A720Tex. An ATEX Intrincically safe hand portable which utilises the highest quality/toughness case material available (PC1414GE) to give years of service in the harshest environments.
