A bright hard plastic PTT cover, as found on the most expensive digital radios, allows for a very responsive and positive Press ToTalk operation
Two function buttons below the PTT switch allow for any four of over twenty functions to be accessed, these include OLED display on/off, battery reserve with graphic, graphic radio staus, power setting and many more dealer programmable options.

The Wolfsin K9 is a compact analogue radio at only 103.00mm high, with a hidden OLED style screen offering three lines of text and multiple information icons. Crammed full of features including ANR Noise Reduction and Compander for brilliant clear audio over greater distances. The K9 has a highly sensitive and stable receiver able to operate efficiently at -121dB or better, hence the K9 really will go further. For more information click on the picture of the K9.
The new Wolfsin Husky K9 AQUAR is not only as tough, rugged and water proof (IP67) as the original K9, it has a completely redesigned case with an innovative speaker and mic chamber giving unparalleled wet weather performance.
In short this means that even when the K9 AQUAR is soaked or submersed in water the K9 AQUAR will continue to transmit and receive with clean, loud, unmuffled high quality transmitted and received audio.
Very few two way radios, whether IP54 or IP68 or analogue or digital can do this, many concentrate in staying water proof, yet when they get soaked or submerged in water the mic and speaker chamber get totally water logged and become incapable of sending or receiving any legible two way radio communication, sometimes for hours or days.
We call this water clogging and only a very - very few makes or models of two way radio can achieve a 10/10 rating for NOT getting water clogged when submersed or soaked and the K9 AQUAR is one of the best at 9.5 out of 10.0!
The blue flashing "find me" top LED is a simple but effective safety feature (dealer programmable), that allows the K9 to use its top mounted LED to flash a bright blue light every eight seconds. Whether the K9 is used for skiing or mountaineering, being used commercially for retail, leisure or security activities or for hill walking or camping, all users will notice that the "find me" blue flashing LED is an operational comfort that can be seen from up to 50 feet away in the dark.
